FAQ
Do I need to configure anything to start tracking?
No. Just share materials inside the Room — page-level dwell time records automatically. The customer doesn't need to install anything.
Can I track both PDFs and videos?
PDFs record seconds per page; videos record playback. Pages record that they were viewed.
Are views through share links recorded too?
Share-link views are recorded separately from Room views. With the “anyone with the link” setting, they count as anonymous views per browser.
Where does the tracking data live?
You can review it in the Room's view-log screen, per-file reports, or the reporting feature — three views in total. CSV export is also supported.
Should I tell clients that views are recorded?
It covers Room members and share-link viewers. Share-link viewers see a notice that their views are recorded. We also recommend mentioning it in your privacy policy.
