Messaging

Is the Slack integration hard to set up?
Authorize your Slack workspace in the admin screen and link a channel to a Room. Room posts reach the Slack thread, and replies in that thread come back to the Room. One channel can be linked to several Rooms.
Do customers need accounts too?
Yes. Invite the client’s contacts to the Room. They join from the link in the invitation email and can see the Room’s files and messages. What they can do depends on the role you invite them with.
Can I separate internal-only and customer-facing discussion?
Each thread can be set to “internal only” or “includes client.”
Do I get email notifications?
You get an email when you’re @mentioned.
Can I import past emails and meeting notes?
Paste meeting notes or email text into Smart Intake to bring them in as candidates such as tasks. Once Slack is connected, Room posts reach the linked Slack thread and replies there come back to the Room.
