Change Room settings
You can customize a Room's basic information and display settings.
Change basic information
- Click the "Settings" tab inside the Room
- Edit the Room name and description
- Click "Save"
Set an icon
Setting an icon for a Room makes it easier to spot in the list.
- Click the icon field on the settings screen
- Choose an emoji or a custom image
- Your selection is saved automatically
Notification settings
You can control notifications for activity within a Room.
| Notification type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| New comment | On | When a comment is added in the Room |
| File update | Off | When a file is added or updated |
| Member joined | On | When a new member joins the Room |
For customer-facing Rooms, turning on file update notifications makes it less likely that material updates go unnoticed.
