Balance and unlocking

Sharing documents and receiving view notifications stay free in Terasu Signal. What you pay for, per result, is the detail behind a document that was actually read. A link nobody read never costs anything.

What is paid

A link counts as read once the same viewer has spent 3 seconds or more on it in total. A glance and your own previews are not counted. A form response counts once it arrives from a link with a form.

The free allowance resets on the 1st of each month (Japan time). Within the allowance, details open automatically even with no balance.

What you see while locked

When the allowance is used up and there is no balance, links and responses show a "locked" mark. The fact that a document was read or a response arrived, with counts and dates, stays free. Unlocking reveals who read which pages for how long, or the responder's contact details.

Adding balance

On the balance page you can buy ¥1,000, ¥3,000 or ¥10,000 packs. Balance is prepaid:

• All prices include tax
• Balance is non-refundable
• Balance expires when you delete your account
• Balance has no expiry date otherwise

Adding balance automatically unlocks anything that was locked, oldest first. The balance page tells you how much would unlock right now.

Auto-unlock and the monthly cap

While you have balance, newly read links and new responses unlock automatically. To keep spending predictable, auto-unlock stops once you pass the monthly cap (¥3,000 by default) and items stay locked until you unlock them by hand. Change the cap, or turn auto-unlock off entirely, under "Auto-unlock settings" on the balance page.

Payment and receipts

Payment is by credit card. Purchases and unlocks appear in the ledger on the balance page. See also the notice under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
