Custom Skills

Custom Skills let you add your company's own sales judgment, proposal criteria, industry knowledge, and internal rules to the AI agent. You can define, at the workspace level, decision-making criteria that the standard skills alone can't fully express.

Open the settings screen

  1. Open workspace settings
  2. Select "Custom Skills"
  3. Click "Create new"

Only workspace administrators can create, delete, and enable Custom Skills.

When to use standard skills vs. Custom Skills

Use caseSetting to use
Basic features such as task suggestions, message drafting, and material creationEnabled skills in Agent Policy
Your company's own deal phases and completion criteriaDeal Progression
Industry-specific judgment, internal sales rules, and your own priority criteriaCustom Skills

First, organize your phases and actions with the standard deal progression settings, and only break out into a Custom Skill the decision-making criteria that are still missing. This keeps things easier to manage.

Operational notes

Custom Skills add to the agent's decision-making inputs. Execution permissions themselves are controlled by the agent policy's autonomy level, approval requirements, and MCP token scopes.

With the current creation form, Custom Skills are created with low-risk settings and are not granted external tool permissions. Changes to Room content and customer-facing output run through approval cards.
